Interesting Hong Kong-style pastoral: "Hidden Mountain" Four Seasons Flower Picture Scroll
Description
For the past ten years, Hong Kong nature writer Human Ip has often traveled deep into the mountains and wilderness to visit Hong Kong’s native flora and fauna. He has discovered that between the “barren countryside” and the “prosperous city”, there is also a vast and ambiguous area, which is the countryside. and farmland.
The wonderful encounter of painting murals in Mei Tzu Lam Village in Sha Tau Kok made her leave the urban area three years ago and move to the "hidden world" of Lai Chi Wo and Mei Tze Lam to live and work. Later, she established the "Yinshan Farm" for organic farming. Farming and writing in the sun and the moon, living in simplicity, really has the meaning of retreating to the countryside.
Today, three years later, Xiaowen published a new book "Hidden Mountain: Notes of the Sun and Moon of Mountain Dwelling", which introduces Chinese pastoral literature of past dynasties, Hong Kong's food and agriculture culture and natural ecology. The paintings on display in this exhibition "Interesting Hong Kong-style Pastoral: "Hidden Mountain" Four Seasons Flower Picture Scroll" are all painted by Xiaowen himself, presenting the most sincere and interesting images of Hong Kong-style pastoral.
